Z Club

This high school service club is sponsored by the school and asks a motivated teacher to meet with the girls regularly to create needed service projects and learn about business and leadership skills.
There are five participating high schools with over 500 members.



Free The Girls

The Zonta Club of Longview has long supported Free the Girls and their fight to help support trafficking survivors by collecting new and used bras. Unfortunately, Free the Girls recently announced that they have changed their program model and will no longer be accepting bra donations. They will now focus on more donation driven support and are accepting financial support, if anyone would like to donate to their cause for the essential programs. Due to the changes mentioned above, the Zonta Club of Longview will not be collecting any new bra donations at this time. We will use the bras that have been collected for Prom Boutique and donate them to other local non-profits who have a need. Thank you so much for your continued support and helping us fight against sex trafficking.

 

 

Z Club Scholarship
2024 Z-Club Scholarship Application
Scholarship amount: $1,000
Criteria:

        1.  Applicant must be 18 or younger and be in their last year of high school.

        2.  ALL sections of the application MUST be complete to be considered for funding.

        3.  Mail/or deliver the attached completed application and referral letters to
                  the contact person.

        4.  Complete the application in a 12 point font.

        5.  Must turn in by the deadline or the application will NOT be considered -           
                  March 15, 2024.

        6.  Current residence must be within a 30 mile radius of Longview, Texas.

        7.  Applicant must be an active member of Z-club.
