The Zonta Club of Longview commits to various service projects each month and we are able to fund these by generous donations. In March, 2021 we provided 42 Easter Baskets to a local nursing home. We have provided cookies to the local hospitals, and a meal to Heartisan's when they relocated to Spring Hill. We will be working in 2023-2024 with Heartisan's Marketplace, Martin House Children's Advocacy Center, and the Women's Center of East Texas.

We are in need of upgrading some of the plastic bins used for storing prom dresses and to add for new dresses we've received since last year. If you would like to donate funds to buy two bins it would be greatly appreciated.

If you prefer to purchase the bins on your own, the link below will take you to the tub we prefer to purchase so we stay consistent and storage is easier. The current price at Walmart is $59.98 plus tax for two. Any funds donated toward this project will go toward storage bin purchases.

Each year we gather bras to be shipped through "Free the Girls" to help with their purpose "A donation of new or gently used bras help create financial stability and independence for women rescued from trafficking. Women in third world countries receive the donated bras. They are taught business skills and learn to sell the bras to provide an income and hope for their future".

Your generous donation will go a long way in "creating a more hopeful world for women rescued from trafficking". We have a continuous collection effort and when we have a box full, we ship them off. Boxes with 200-250 bras cost $48 to ship. We need your help getting these bras to Free the Girls!
